What's your experience with social medias?
Fellow Deviants, let's share our experiences!
I'll go first :D
After some years of not-too-honorable service, I'm thinking of leaving Facebook for good, and substitute it with Twitter.
Facebook it’s a bit too dispersive and chaotic in my opinion, and I really don’t like that mechanic that force you to pay to show your posts to people that already liked your page. Pretty lame I think.
On the other hand, I do like the possibility to comment on posts.
Why Twitter?
I saw lots of artists I’m interested in, using mostly Twitter, instead of Facebook, and they're very active on it, with polls and lots of interaction with thei
Update 02: A different approach!
This year has started with a bunch of nice events and also a brand new feeling.
I'm slowly overcoming various difficulties I had in my life, and I really feel different, a strange kind of euphorc freedom I think. I can't explain it very well, but I feel changed and also my style and my approach to work is changing.
I'm trying new techniques: I seriously trying to use watercolors and different kinds of tools that I've never used until now, and this is helping me a lot improving my style and my thoughts about all the stages my work have.
On the comic pages, my pencils are made faster and more space is given to the inks and to experimenting
Update 01: New things!
Hey, it's been a while since my last journal entry!
I've improved a lot my style and my personality in the last year, so I think it's time to be more friendly with my watchers and keep them updated on what's going on.
I'm on Tumblr-
I'm working to improve this new page, so most of the things you will find there are just temporaries. For me it's a good alternative to my old dusty blog on Blogger, and it could provide also some publicity for my works. Of course, since it's a blog, I will have a more 'personal' approach by sharing my thoughts, ideas and sketches, all of the things I can't do here(my Deviantart's page is meant to be for work,
Happy New Year!!!
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever god may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced not cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
William Ernest Henley- Invictus
May these words guide the future of us all, in these difficult times.
Bon
